We are excited to announce that 6 films from Production Assistance Program filmmakers and alum will be premiering next week at CPH:DOX 2023, and 7 WMM filmmakers will be pitching their projects. PA Program films EAT BITTER (dir. Ningyi Sun and Pascale Appora-Gnekindy) and QUEER FUTURES (a collection of three shorts produced by Jessica Devaney, Multitude Films) will both have their World Premieres and LITTLE RICHARD: I AM EVERYTHING (dir. Lisa Cortes) will have its International Premiere. New films from Program alums will also screen: VICTIM/SUSPECT (dir. Nancy Schwartzman); MERKEL (dir. Eva Weber); and THE ETERNAL MEMORY (dir. Maite Alberdi).
PA Projects pitching in the Forum include: #WHILE BLACK (dir. Sydney Fussel, Samantha Knowles, prod. Ann Shin); GIVE IT A SHOT (dir. Vaishali Sinha, prod. Hemang Chheda, Greg Boustead, Jessica Harrop); INTERCEPTED (dir. Oksana Karpovych, prod. Giacomo Nudi); RED ZONE (dir. Iryna Tsilyk, prod. Darya Bassel); THE PRODUCTION OF THE WORLD (dir. Brett Story, prod. Jeff Reichert); and UNTITLED DWARFISM PROJECT (dir. Julie Wyman, prod. Lindsey Dryden, Jonna McKone). Also pitching is TESTAMENT, a new project from Program alum Meena Nanji.
