We are excited that a number of WMM films are included in the Museum of Contemporary Photography’s Reproductive: Health, Fertility, Agency exhibit! The exhibit aims to add visual presence and a deeper understanding of the precariousness female rights and freedoms in a time when these rights are under threat. MoCP is bringing attention to the lack of visual representation of the experiences of the female body and the “patriarchal, capitalist view of women’s bodies as vehicles for reproduction.”
The WMM films included in the exhibit represent the layered life experiences of women in relationship to reproductive health and fertility.
