Reproductive Justice Panel Discussion

Featuring filmmakers from BELLY OF THE BEAST and ABORTION HELPLINE, THIS IS LISA
Moderated by Dawn Porter

Join us on January 22, 2021, the 48th anniversary of the landmark 1973 Supreme Court Decision, Roe v. Wade, at 3:30 PM ET/12:30 PM PT for a panel discussion about reproductive justice moderated by Dawn Porter (director, John Lewis: Good Trouble) with the filmmakers of our two new releases Belly of the Beast (director, Erika Cohn) and Abortion Helpline, This is Lisa (directors, Janet Goldwater, Barbara Attie, and Mike Attie).

The panel discussion will explore how both restricted access to abortion and forced sterilization are matters of reproductive justice, with a focus on how current laws disproportionately impact poor women and women of color. RSVP below to hold your spot.
