Films from both WMM programs are screening in theaters and on your television screen this month. Our newest release, RAZING LIBERTY SQUARE (dir. Katja Esson), will have its theatrical premiere at the DCTV Firehouse Cinema in NYC, October 27- – November 2. WMM board member Neyda Martinez, Director of the Media Management Graduate Program at the New School, will moderate the opening night Q&A.

- INVISIBLE BEAUTY (dir. Bethann Hardison, Frédéric Tcheng; prod. Lisa Cortes) is now screening in theaters nationwide. A Magnolia Pictures release. – Check the screening dates, locations, and times here.
- FIRE THROUGH DRY GRASS (dir. Alexis Neophytides), opened to sold-out screenings at the DCTV Firehouse Cinema over the weekend and is screening through October 5. It will be at the Roxie in San Francisco on October 23 and have its broadcast premiere on PBS’s POV on October 30.
- TO KILL A TIGER (dir. Nisha Pahuja) opens theatrically at the Film Forum in NYC on October 20.
- GOING TO MARS: THE NIKKI GIOVANNI PROJECT (dir. Michèle Stephenson, co-dir. Joe Brewster), recently acquired by HBO Films, is also opening theatrically at the Film Forum starting November 3. The film will also be screening in the NY Film Festival at The Bronx Museum of Arts on October 4 (the first NYFF screening was Sept. 29).
