We are pleased to announce that several WMM-supported films and filmmakers have received nominations for both the Gotham Awards and Cinema Eye Honors.
For the Gotham Awards, in the Best Documentary Feature category, the following films, made with support from our WMM Production Assistant Program, are nominated:
- INTERCEPTED (Directed by Oksana Karpovych)
- SUGARCANE (Directed by Julian Brave NoiseCat and Emily Kassie)
Additionally, DAHOMEY, directed by program Alum Mati Diop, has been nominated.
The Gotham Awards are December 2, 2024.
Cinema Eye also released the first batch of nominations and long lists for their 2025 Honors.
