We are so grateful for the continued, generous support from the National Endowment for the Arts! Women Make Movies has been awarded a $70,000 Grants for Arts Projects to support our distribution program. We are among 1,073 projects across America totaling nearly $25 million that were selected during this first round of fiscal year 2021 funding in the Grants for Arts Projects funding category.

For more than 45 years, Women Make Movies has helped elevate diverse women directors and producers and improved equity in the film industry. The largest distributor of films by and about women in the world, WMM is deeply invested in identifying, using, and creating avenues for distribution and effective strategies for release and promotion. Our collection of more than 700 films is used by thousands of cultural, educational, and community organizations each year.
