About this Event

Are you looking for $100,000 in production funding? If so, April 19th is the deadline for the IDA’s Enterprise Fund, which awards $100,000 to feature-length documentary films taking on in-depth explorations of original, contemporary stories and integrating journalistic practice into the filmmaking process. We are delighted to welcome IDA’s new Director of Funds Poh Si Teng and Program Officer Dana Merwin to discuss IDA’s funds (including the Pare Lorentz and Logan Elevate Funds) and the Enterprise Program, now entering its fifth year. IDA funds have supported many award-winning films including THE FEELING OF BEING WATCHED, AFTER TILLER, and CHARM CITY, to name a few from our programs. Our webinar will discuss how the programs have evolved and what is new this year including the question of authorship – and what exactly that means; what IDA is looking for, when and how to apply, what makes a strong proposal, and the evaluation criteria.  If you are planning to apply to any of the funds, think the funds aren’t for you or never thought of applying, this webinar is for you.  Join us for this vivid and enlightening conversation!

A discounted price of $15 is available to WMM Production Assistance Program and Distribution Filmmakers as well as members of WMM Partner Groups. Enter your promo code when selecting your ticket type.

***If you are unable to participate live, a recording of this webinar will be emailed to all registrants and available for three months after the recording is posted.
