The Bryn Mawr Film Institute is screening CODED BIAS via streaming on November 24.

CODED BIAS tells the story of MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini as she discovers that most facial-recognition software misidentifies women and darker-skinned faces and delves into an investigation of widespread bias in algorithms.
